Samuel J. Lanasa
Sam Lanasa is a proven leader with more than 30 years senior management experience in air monitoring, safety and health, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, laboratory, and process control instrumentation.
From 1990 to 2003, Sam served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Thermo Electron, an S&P 500 instrumentation company, in charge of strategic commercial leadership and comprehensive marketing activities.
Since his departure from Thermo, Sam has been driving the development and growth of New Star Environmental. New Star has already established a global reach and continues to grow at a steady pace by satisfying instrument requirements for scientists, researchers, universities, and government agencies all over the globe.
Additionally, Sam’s strong working relationships with federal and state regulatory organizations in the U.S., and global agencies that regulate Asia, Europe, and Latin and Central America have made him an indispensable asset to New Star customers.
Robert P. Ford
With nearly three decades experience, Rob Ford is a veteran of the environmental instrumentation industry. Rob began his career as a Sales Engineer with Research Appliance Company (RAC) and quickly advanced his career through several acquisitions, serving as National Sales Manager for Andersen Instruments, and VP of Sales for Graseby PLC and Thermo Electron.
In 2003, Rob served as a co-founder of New Star Environmental where he has utilized his tremendous knowledge of the Asian and Latin American environmental markets to benefit clients around the world.
